Once I had purchased MaidAppleton.com I knew I couldn't simply tell people about it in passing. Not me! I had to make it a big production, even bigger and better than previous antics, such as dyeing my hair (auburn and later blonde), getting it in beads and braids, shaving my head bald, 9 U2 concerts during the Elevation Tour, or making it to the interview round for the first Survivor. This had to have a large dose of SHOCK VALUE and yet have a believable subplot with a (slightly mean) twist.
As only a genius (or somewhat slightly crazy) can do, I carefully devised 15 e-mails that I would unleash upon my whole address book (100+ people) and see if anyone could 'guess' what was going on.
